Indeed. If there’s no inkling of a new manager by this time tomorrow, we’re in a lot of trouble.

I’m assuming your slapping your face because we are already in a lot of trouble right?

Or are we discounting our league position, current performances and general overall shortcomings.

    There's no problem!

We've just become the richest club on the planet. Stop being impatient, stop reading the negative **** and let them get on with the job.

Rafa 3/1 on some betting sites.

Villa are targeting Gerrard if Smith is sacked.

You're like a slightly less reliable version of the BBC Gossip column.

Just to be clear, Rafa is 25/1 with a number of main bookies. So lump it on, fella.

Shag / Marry / Avoid - Newcastle Manager special edition.

Scrolling through the betting odds there's some decent names, some "meh" and a sprinkling of WTF in the race to be next Newcastle manager. So who would be your shag (sexiest choice), marry (sensible option) and avoid? For me -

    Shag - Erik Ten Hag.
    Marry - Lucien Favre.
    Avoid - ex-Chelsea players.

Nuno's been sacked. Get him in as soon as.

NUNO 100% can set up a solid 3/5 at the back - kept Wolves up and improved them to the point where they were solid mid table under him. Decent attacking play and he's got a half decent record of brining players in and improving them.

I was wondering about Nuno - genuinely, I think he'd be a good signing. We're kind of set up for that, I reckon. He's defence first, understands a counter way better than Bruce/Jones and would be a very safe pair of hands.

I'd be really pleased about this guy.

He'll be a good transition manager for you's. He'll also target some decent additions in January.

Right now, with no manager, Newcastle will tank. And the more they do that, the less likely you are to bring in anyone decent this season, especially in time for the transfer window. Not good.

I wouldn't complain tbh, did a very good job at Wolves, a **** time at Spurs doesn't mean he'll never be good again.

This is bang on - the happy clapper will shoot you down, mind!

Nuno was never right for Spurs. I hope if we get him people realise that's better than our level by some distance, a massive step up on Bruce and remember what he did at everywhere except Spurs!

    Straight in at 12/1.
