Potentially the most exciting game of the tournament so far! The magnificent Nigeria take on the dirty cheating despicable Argies. Can "Ahmed Messi" do the business again? He's certainly up for it: ''I feel very excited and thanks to my teammates because they encouraged me that I can do it, the next game is a very big one, if we win we qualify to the next stage,'' ''Beating Argentina will be another history for the whole team not only me, I think it is a very good opportunity for us to win." One thing for sure - Musa > Messi > Sore Shoulder Mo The mind games have started already. The Argies formidable PR machine has even insinuated that our lucky chickens have been genetically modified Anyway - we will show them! Bring it on Just got time to catch my ride to the stadium ... laters please log in to view this image
Will Messi turn up to grind out the required result? All the other 'big' nations have stepped up when required it seems. However, Messi looks like an unhappy chappy. As for Nigeria...I prefer their dark green change kit over the one everyone has been raving about.
Loved watching tNigeria against Iceland - they looked at times like a bunch of mates having a kick-about in the park - but they can be very exciting to watch when in full flow - two excellent finishes from Ahmed Musa and very good performances by both Wilf Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho - Argentina could e in for a rough ride ... but if Messi is at his best and the supporting cast of Aguerro, Higuain, Dybala, Di Maria, Benaga, Mascherano & co, turn-up the Argies really should have too much - but they do not look a happy united bunch by any means ...
