I really think we may struggle to win any of our next 7 games!

    Wycombe h
    Coventry a
    Posh a
    Coventry a
    Coventry h
    Brizzle Rovers h
    Pompey a

Glad we got plenty of points early on tbh!

If we revert to our best formation 2 up front and at least one of our injured players comes back, and we manage to beat Wycombe, we then go on a roll.

We need to turn up Tuesday, plenty of passion.

If we're still in the top 2 by January, Lambert deserves a hell of a lot of credit. If we are and strengthen in January I think we'll only get stronger.

Still think our squad is anywhere near as strong as people think, we're only a couple of injuries from a crisis

Well, the only win so far was in a pen shootout, so that doesn't count<laugh>

Could see this dodgy spell coming, although we were at the top....I thought we looked rubbish and it was only a matter of time before the wheels came off!

As I've said if we can cling on to the top 2 until January I think we could have a stronger second half of the season. But that relies on players returning to match fitness and Lambert being able to strengthen and pick a settled side

Have no fear, our boys are up next and we usually oblige in ending a clubs indifferent run :headbang:

A feckin disaster if you like Europe and the freedom of movement. And all the other proven, honest, factual reasons for staying with our nearest allies! It beats me that it was the working class mainly that handed the Tories victory, and the younger generation that wanted to give Boris a good kicking! Labour has much to learn.

Time will tell, but I am convinced that the Boris Panto will be the biggest crash on Ice! :1980_boogie_down:<laugh>:emoticon-0169-dance

Because rightly or wrongly, we have a 1st past the post system which everyone knew about before the election but only complain when the party they support didn’t win. Personally, I think leaving the EU is a disaster but that was what the public voted for

I don't think it really answers the question about how it's democracy.

Do what I do, find a nice sturdy brick wall. step back about 30 paces, then run into it as fast as you can., anything that may have been troubling suddenly seems quite insignificant

The arguments for it are stability and that it keeps extremists out of parliament. What has happened in France and Italy with fascists gaining ground in theory should be a lot more difficult to happen. Also that each constituency has an accountable and available MP - I can’t see a good way for that to work under PR, but I suppose it could.

But as it turns out we’ve inadvertently got ourselves a far right government who are centrist in name only.

So for the first time in British history PR sounds like a bloody good idea.

We had a referendum on P R a few years ago and nobody wanted it.
