He'd be mad not to consider it, but talks with City are at a pretty advanced stage, to pull out now would probably be a waste of money and he's not rich enough that he can just chuck money away.

I think the Derby situation has been going on for a while, I would expect if he was interested in derby he’d have waited for the administration to happen. Rather than go so far down the line with us

They have money collectively, but not hugely keen on being the faces of the bid hence this Turkish media guy taking the limelight. They see it as an potential short term investment project that hinges on s prem return and then sell.

It's a shame they couldn't wrap this up second half of last season to be in charge for the start of this season. Reckon there was a real chance to push on and make a play for the PL with the positive momentum of promotion and some key signings, but it's going to be much more difficult now. With our FFP position though there's a good prospect for having a serious tilt at it with a squad overhaul, but still a big gamble.

You can be sure that more mismanagement will come to light as the administrators dig deeper into the books, according to what has been said and writen about Derbys owner, if he told me it was Sunday i'd check the calender first before agreeing with him.

If he is one of 7/8 he could be about to get in an auction.

Why would they think we’re a good thing for a prem return?

If these unknown investors decided to sell in the near future and treat it as a short-term investment, would the Turkish media guy still be involved in the club after that do you think? For example, like a director or CEO?

Especially as he’s dead… mind you, there’s a thought. A dead manager? We could be trend setters

it's Mostly to do with the FFP room we have, the fact we have no big long contracts on players that aren't needed, no outstanding transfer fees of any significance, very low if any monies owed to banks HMRC etc... they apparently understand investment is needed in the first team squad and facilities.
