    We had the same limited assets when they bought us off Bartlett for £40 million.

    A. I never said they've not made anything.
    B. Fair point, but their ultimate objective was to get the KC for nowt or as good as nowt. When the fall out with HCC came and it was never resolved, then that's when they decided that the only direction was down.

    I have my own theory about the Duffen link..It might be* / could possibly be* a smoke and mirrors job to try and engender some interest, make it look like there is interest. When in point of fact there is none. This way no one can say they're not trying or willing to sell the club. When the club remains in their hands then they can say they tried...

    *But of course I don't know for sure and it's at best speculation on my behalf and not fact.

    I honestly thought it would happen during this international break.
    Silly me.
    Wouldn't it be nice if every now and then, someone from the club would tell us fans (their customers and life blood) what is going on? I know they can't divulge all the details, but at least say a weekly update. Nothing much worse than being ignored, especially when it's something you care about.

    Wishful thinking I fear.
    Discussions going on for months. Period of exclusivity ended. DD done. And still nothing.
    Complicated by the rumoured further 'new' interest x2.
    Having gone from feeling very optimistic for it happening during this break #sillyme, I no longer share your optimism. Rather, I now fear the worst.

    Allam senior and junior held a meeting in Willerby Manor on Sunday. Two male guests who were unknown. Meeting was formal...not lunch
