Oooh, we're 2nd to TWS. https://www.not606.com/threads/politics-religion-nsfw-no-faint-hearted.353454/
You can still have engagement at board level Non Executive type roles that provide diversity of thought and challenge while the executive responsibility sits with owner etc
I posted this earlier. The shortcomings in all this are well pointed out by Martin Samuel. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...ership-nice-ring-not-answer-bring-reform.html
Some of the fans requests / demands are farcical. Definitely needs to be some regular form of communication between fans and owners, is that to be in the board meetings or fan representative meetings who knows.
Go on, string us along, we can take it... 'Ilıcalı is very close to acquiring Hull City' https://www.haberler.com/acun-ilicali-ingiltere-1-lig-sampiyonu-hull-14155461-haberi/
So, people can go spout at meetings but the overall decisions are down to the man with the money? Same as now then. Samuel and a journalist in the Guardian wrote article about the idealised impression people have of the German ownership model and the realities of itas to how much influence the fans, or members, actually have.
I can’t remember I’ll get back to you in a minute EDIT Oh yeah Dutch said he was all for fan engagement but not at board level because a club can’t be run by committee I merely made the point that many organisations have non executive Directors that don’t ‘run’ them but provide a different perspective to help the executives make better decisions. Then Castro kept quoting a very good article...about something else.
