    Things you just don't do..

    Punch a horse.

    Hit a copper

    and this

A man has been arrested after dozens of poppy wreaths were thrown from a war memorial in Swindon.

What police have described as a "mindless act of vandalism" is believed to have happened at 4.38am on Saturday, causing a "huge amount of upset" in the local community.

Image:The wreaths were seen by officers on patrol
The wreaths, laid on remembrance Sunday in November, were thrown in an 80-metre radius of the Cenotaph War Memorial in Regent Circus, officers on patrol discovered.

A 54-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and taken to Swindon Police Station for questioning. He was still in custody on Sunday evening.

"This incident has understandably caused a huge amount of upset to our local community and officers have been working tirelessly to identify the person responsible," said Inspector Rachel Hardy.

"Whilst we have made an arrest, we continue to appeal to anyone who may have information on this incident to call us."

Robbing charities? But that's exactly what charities are for, obviously not as bad as a 'not for profit' company, but still, I thought everyone knew charities were scams.

What a load of moral outrage over absolutely nothing!

Commie, if you want to get upset about something, get upset about children starving around the world.

We live in a world where America wastes trillions of dollars trying to work out that blackholes don't really exist, when a fraction of that money could provide the water-wells, crops, animals, and basic shelter to save the lives of thousands around the Globe.

That's a crime worth getting into a moral tizz over, I would suggest.

    Who's mocking anything, muppet?

    I'm not.

Just don't expect me to get upset that some dickhead threw a load of flowers on the pavement when there are actual crimes being committed against tens of thousands of children whose mistake was to be born in the wrong place, at the wrong time.

There are real problems in this world to get upset about, not fake ones.
