Well done to the young-uns tonight, three goals in 20mins well done. Apparently Ba was brilliant in the first half. Nice to be able to rely on the youth when signings are proving somewhat difficult.
We were absolutely fantastic when the kids came on. They were so confident on the ball and composed it was a pleasure to watch. I've come away happier then I have for a long time after watching them, I trust Gus will nurture them and we will see some of them step up, definitely. I'd give them the league cup this season.
He trusted Bridcutt and many people have slaughtered him for it ........ perhaps the supporters are part of the problem.

This, they played Gus' football better than the first team lads. Everyone of them seemed extremely confident in their own ability. Agnew the pick of the bunch for me. Lovely first two goals.

That's completely different though imo.... Bridcutt is 25 years old and came here for £3m to hit the ground running, people slaughtered Gus coz he didn't look a PL player at times (not my opinion mind - I think the lad will come good!) With the younguns it's completely different, we just want them to be given a chance to show what they can do, whether that's a 10-15 minute run-out in prem when someone is clearly knackered or we're cruising (wishful thinking!!), or in the cups, or out on loan. Just don't want them gonig four years ortting in the reserves with barely a first team appearance for us or any other club, wasting their potential and fading into the abyss...
The first goal was outstanding. About 30 passes around the box, lovely quick movement, patient build up, belting finish. Worldie!
