Just disappointed you read it that way. Would have expected it of some others though...

Don't know about the Directors Commission thing. Some of them overlap wth managers. Maybe someone will know.
Used to get some decent crowds in their non league days. Got into bother for bunking off school to see them play Doncaster Rovers in a Cup Replay in those days. I think there was over 10,000 there, a fair few because Alick Jeffrey (oldies will remember him) was making a comeback for Donny.
Saw them beat Chelsea, which was fun afterwards, and narrowly lose to Arsenal. They beat Parma in the Anglo Italian Cup
First club to gain automatic promotion to the football league. Wembley appearances were a fairly regular occurence for them at one stage as well.
Some of their supporters come across as supporters of a big club in the way they carry on more than sone of ours do.
Interesting chairmen down the years as well...

I notice Scarboroughs gates are about 5 time what North Ferriby are getting, I'm sure they will progress back up the leagues quickly now they are home but maybe not this year, South Shields are in their league.

According to CI, quite a few went up to Blyth - a nice touch and kudos to those who went to pay their respects. They saw a good game by the looks of it, nine goals, two penalties and a red card!

We travelled to Newport v Yeovil, (two stadiums for the price of one!) and saw an entertaining match. Newport itself has obviously had lots of investment in recent years. I fared a touch better than my last visit to Somerton Park, unlike then I wasn't ejected twice! Just Forest Green Rovers left now for a full set.

They're in the league now, if they can stay up and stop being **** we might get a league cup draw against them next year.
