How many youngsters were subjected to this sort of thing with c*nts like this turning a blind eye? Why has his 'indefinite' suspension been kept quiet? It seems football still wants to suppress what has and may still be happening...
2nd sacking this season, the the class of 92 take a lot of pleasing, this was one week after winning at Wembley. I'd like to see how they meet FFP on their gates...
I quite enjoy the TV programme following the fortunes of the club, but it must be odd for some of the pre-class of 92 fans seeing their club turned into something very different, even with the success that's come with it.
Yes I bet it does. You can buy your way out of non-league as they proved but they'll take a lot longer under EFL regulations. It said everything a few years ago when Adam Rooney was about to sign for Aberdeen in the SPL with Europa League football but got an offer he couldn't refuse to join Salford in non league. Back then their average gate was under 2,000, it's just over 3,000 now. Emulating Wycombe and Yeovil would be their ceiling...
https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/56508619 He should have gone a long time ago. Ridiculous that he had so much influence for so long.
The man was a very smart operator, he courted all the 'third world' nations increasing their influence and voting power in return for their 'support' which wasn't just votes. All the big sporting bodies have very dubious structures which allow the likes of Blatter and others exceptional support from within their membership and the award of tournaments or championships and the 'rewards' that come with them. Russia and Qatar shame World football but it's a money-go-round...
Think this sort of story is inspiring especially as the lad can't even go to school due to not having any books...... A teenage referee has caught the eyes of Zambian football enthusiasts with his skill as the main match official. Raphael Mbotela, 16, has been refereeing matches since the age of 13. But he came to national attention on Wednesday when he officiated a friendly match between top-flight sides Zesco United and Forest Rangers. Birmingham have sold their ground to a company based in British Virgin Isles for £10.8m and will rent it from them for 12 years for £1.25m per year....... I think they may be in trouble again.......
I did say a few months back that Reading were spending too much. After Bournemouth’s win last night they are 5 points off the play offs with 5 games to go including matches against Cardiff/Swansea and Norwich. If they fail to get promoted they will be in financial doo doo. It will be interesting how they get treated re FFP compared to what they did to us?
Seriously have people got no sense of humor? Dulux apologises for mocking Tottenham after partnership announced https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/56764258 Mind why Spurs need an official paint partner is anyone's guess........
I really do hope Rotherham win both their remaining games, a long shot for sure, to send Derby and Wednesday down, they've both taken the piss financially for years...
