Here’s a solution... if most of the new cases are kids aged 17-25... stick a curfew in them and ban the little twats from pubs, buying booze etc...
**** knows. Apparently it will be essential journeys only too on public transport. Hope that doesn’t scupper my flight to Turkey on Monday.
yep. Kids have always been selfish as it’s in their DNA. That’s why if they are the issue we should clamp down on them. A booze ban is easy... landlord asks for ID and Turns then away.
This. When we all saw those news reports from China, Italy, and Spain, maybe be thought we'd all be dropping dead in the street. It hasn't happened. 40,000 dead is not a pandemic.
I might be wrong but I’m sure I read worldwide it was something like 1 million. I do think however that given the low % of deaths to cases that we are maybe over reacting but who knows.
They should've just kept the 1st lockdown in play for another month and they should have been shooting anyone breaking the rules
Yes, sorry I meant 40k in the UK. I've a feeling the virus has mutated into something far less deadly.
Perhaps if You were high risk, you'd take it more seriously. I dont get flu, so very unlikely to die of it, but, if I catch Covid, there is a high possibility that I will. As will others you know.
I am high risk (asthmatic and with a history of upper respiratory tract infections, some of them lasting 4-5 weeks). In fact, in amazed I haven't caught this already...and suffered with it too. I've never had flu...but this isnt flu is it? This is some form of upper respiratory tract infection that then heads for the lungs.
According to some of the uk top boffins, it had mutated into six strains, two of which were deemed as lethal, both these strains were supposedly identified as prevalent in Europe. Not sure what the state of play is presently re mutations, as the info I read was over two months ago. Only a matter of a couple of weeks until hospital admission increases, as the current trend of infection amongst youngins will inevitably reach older people.
