nigel pearson is a very capable manager. paul lambert is a genius. massive difference lambert could very well end up at man united as his next move - not sure pearson will be a name on the united directors lips to be honest...
Lambert took Norwich straight up to the Prem first season in CCC Pearson got us to the play-off semi's in our first season in CCC - where we were very unlucky to lose a penalty shoot out in Cardiff having arguably deserved to win on the night .. In terms of 'anywhere close' I'd put that 'very' - in fact just 90 minutes away ... admittedly with Blackpool to overcome - which reminds me, were they not just about where you are this time last season? I actually hope you stay up as I also do for by the far best footballing side that went up last time around; Swansea - and that's not a cheap dig but a compliment to a team that we couldn't seem to get the ball off last season and who are continuing to impress. As for the cup tie - it's been a fair while since I've been to Norwich for an away game - but I was there when a young scottish bloke called Melrose scored a hat-trick on the last day of the season - we were already down and frankly were pretty ****e - we are better now - take heed.
I think Norwich will stay up as they have a top class manager. Will Deliah be giving another half time talk or is she now on the wagon?
Even though the Foxes seem to play better against the higher teams, i believe that Norwich will be too strong for them.....
I saw the highlights of the Norwich against Swansea at the weekend...both looked like a really good sides. Hopefully, you played yourself out in that game. Basically, if oyu play at your best, you'll win. If you don't...
And you are not playing until the week after - unlike use who will be playing on the Thursday. You will have no excuse when we beat you then
Paul Lambert has said today he is more focused on Man U next week then us on saturday. Perfect for us, under estimate us at your peril. Were no one's pushover
I think he means he more interested in getting players fit for the man utd game than risk further injury in the cup! We are fine every where apart from the back, We have picked up quite a few injuries at the back over last 2 games. You will see our strongest line up possible bar maybe jed steer in goal, lambert does NOT under estimate anyone
