Cheers Bubba (sorry, couldn't resist it). Could have been 3-0 if the ref was on his game, but a win's a win. Good luck in the Prem, not that you'll need it, you'll be fine.
We may not win back-to-back games, but we don't lose back-to-back either. That was the good omen coming into this game.
Excellent win ... and not entirely unexpected .. thought we'd trouble them going forward having watched the highlights of their game at Swansea ... we were also very unlucky to lose at Watford in midweek - glad to see that Nige had the courage to 'rest' our most expensive signing ... needed doing .. we have the potential to give a good account of ourselves in the quarters and with a bit of luck a trip to Wembley is quite possible (perhaps two!!!) .. never lose the dream!!!! - also a big up to Nugent, I for one was sceptical of his goal ratio etc but he has proven me wrong..
I think the two key things for us were the work rate we showed and how we out worked them, which not many teams do to Norwich and also the performance of our two centre backs compared to theirs. Admittedly Norwich weren't 100% both in terms of players or performance but I thought we did well again against a bigger team who seem to give us the space to play whereas teams below us make it more difficult for us to pass it by pressing really high. I'm sick of saying it now but I hope we can build on this - if anything just to establish some consistency for next season.
Thank you - over the many years I have generally enjoyed a trip to East Anglia - we came, we saw, we conquered and maybe even broadened the gene pool so that some of you will now have more breeding options than close blood relations ... no wonder you are grateful ..
