That looks a bit drastic - have they cut his left arm off?

Seriously, this could be a good chance for Heise to make his debut if Jamal can't play. It'd be a bit demoralising if Aarons was moved to LB. I'd also like to see Hanley come in at CB and Amadou move to DM - round pegs for round holes.

Lewis is probably out for Villa, but at least it's not a break, according to the NI manager:

"My understanding is that the X-ray and the scan didn't show any fracture," said O’Neill. "There is ligament damage there and I think it just a case of how you can protect the elbow and manage to play and we will see how things develop for him this week and at Norwich as well."

You can't have an elbow injury if you don't have an elbow.

So Jamal and Ben will be available, but not Hanley, Krul or Fährmann. Cantwell missed two days training but may be available. Here's my stab at a possible line-up:

    McGovern
    Aarons, Amadou, Godfrey, Lewis
    Leitner, McLean
    Buendia, Stiepermann, Cantwell?
    Pukki

Subs: Mair, Heise, Famewo?, Srbeny, Roberts, Drmic, Idah

Byram has an ankle knock, but may be on the bench, but otherwise that's all of the players we have available. <yikes> :emoticon-0107-sweat

So why risk him - what's the point of Roberts being here if he's never going to get a a game?
Might as well send him back to Manchester and save the wages if he's become the invisible man?

Apparently Roberts arrived low on fitness and it has taken time to build that up. More likely to feature from the bench unless Todd's hamstring plays up. Drmic can also play there.

According to Paddy, Farke said Sam has been nursing an ankle problem: "He's been struggling a bit for two weeks to be honest with this and it was also one of the reasons we didn't start him at Crystal Palace"

I think he's on the waiting list to get into Colney. :)
