How do I add a signature to my posts? I want to keep repeating DF's entreaty to "Ignore the noise". Far from ignoring the noise, some of us seem intent on creating even more of it. Twenty-seven games still to play; DF says we need to win ten or eleven, tonight is only one of them; light appearing at the end of the injury tunnel; Alex Ferguson used to say the season only really starts after Christmas, so 23rd November is plenty time enough!

Good attacking play, but the defence looks casual, leaving far too much space. Godfrey carried the ball forward well, but after passing to Buendia, he made little attempt to regain his position and Watford exploited the space for their goal. We've got to improve defensive discipline or we'll be in real trouble.

It’s fun and we look good to watch but crikey this is yet again an example of why I hate the premier league - can totally dominate but still be losing.

Logically I think what you say is difficult to dispute, but I can’t help thinking that when you have a 33 year old central midfielder playing his second game at centre back ever (I think!) there feels like a point where you have to shrug about defensive discipline accepting it is just not going to happen.

    Play to your strengths.

I think everyone is underestimating just how important losing virtually all our centre backs has been. When you have to chop and change all the time there, this means the foundations are shaky and that eventually trickles through to the whole team. Then confidence goes, and we are where we are now. It's much easier to lose forward players and keep the overall shape. I'm not making excuses, but I think people who are starting to criticise the ownership are not really being fair. I'm pretty sure if we had taken a poll on here about whether we agreed with the policy of trusting the players who got us up, almost everyone would have been on board.

Dreadful stuff. I can’t really blame Tettey but the loss of centre backs has crucified us and probably ruined our season.

That horrible challenge by the West Ham striker has been a disaster.
