The Palace fans succinctly chanted "That's why you're going down" as we dominated the entire game and got the boffins at V.A.R central to punish us again for not spending enough tv revenue money in the summer.

The game looks rigged to be honest .

I'm still proud of our club. We've tried to do it a different way and it's almost certainly going to fail. But would you really want to support one of these mid-table teams like Palace or Burnley who play the percentages and are just treading water until they hit a bad season?

I have to admire Farke for resisting the temptation to set his teams up to defend and instead stick to his guns and provide attacking and entertaining games!

the defensive approach has never helped us so I’m happy for us to keep attacking teams.

our luck has to change at some point, we have been in every single game we have played and dropped points by the slimmest of margins.

I’d much rather we go into games trying to win!

from one happy Norwich fan (in terms of performances) looking on the bright side of things.

I'm sure those mid table boring sides would not swap places with our gung ho Jonahs but I agree <ok>

The Stiepermann substitution was the only blot in Farkes copy book for me today. I know he did well last season but I wasn’t a fan then and I’m still not.

I accepted it last season because he managed to do things, but I’m afraid this is a step too far for him in my opinion. I wouldn’t even have him on the bench, much rather have Roberts there as an option.

Idah should have come on for Pukki instead, fresh legs to run the lines and force the defence back a bit and as he showed his hold up play is good too - which I guess was the reason that Farke put Stieps on for

In my mind we only fail if we don't come straight back up, if we go down and stay up. I can see a lot of similarities between us and Burnley of a few years ago. Yet another decent performance from the team where we didn't get the points we perhaps deserved.

I basically agree, but I can see a split appearing between the fans who share our attitude and those who don't care what it takes in order to stay up. It was so easy to be a fan last year, with all those crazy last-minute goals and the sheer expressiveness of the team. This year we're close, but no cigar. But personally I don't love the PL so much that I would be happy to just close down games and try to sneak a goal when we can. Hughton cured me of that forever.

Why would we have to decimate our squad. Almost all are on long term contracts and financially we're secure for a few years whatever happens.

You’re absolutely right! For some the PL is the be all and end all and of course ultimately that is the goal, but for some like me, we are content to watch NCFC do it our way! This PL season was never in the plan and is an unexpected bonus, we will be using it to fund and hopefully kick start our future so that 5-7 years down the line we might become an established PL team.

Rome wasn’t built in a day!

"If" which I don't believe will happen we get relegated.

Pukki and Godfrey will be sold, perhaps Buendia and Aarons to balance the books it's inevitable in our self funding format.

My pants are dry and I believe we will finish 13th btw

We keep saying that Suffolk, but Villa, Southampton and Watford all won today against better teams than Palace. We needed the 3 points but didn't get them.

Heads are easily turned for players that don’t have strong links to the club, once they’ve tasted the PL they will want to stay there, and if big money offers are made in sure the club won’t stand in the players way

That depends on how desperate you are to stay in the PL this season. 3 points won’t define the club.

would I like us to stay in the PL - of course, but equally I won’t be distraught if we don’t this time around

Yep , survival means PL game time for England hopefuls , relegation to the Chumpionship and the young hopefuls don't get call ups , I'll add Cantwell to the list .
