Definitely a foul throw but not defended... and Meylers challenge was never a booking in a month, but as someone said, he should have been hooked ...
Time for the ref to be interviewed straight after the game. Justify this kind of ****. Doesn't make it tense and exciting, makes it feel like a mugging. Still, a good away point. Onward and upwards.
Almost did a smash and grab with 10 men City. To be fair it sounded like Norwich bossed that second half for large parts but conceding with the last kick of the game still f'kin boils my pizz...grrrrr
Oh i agree, Henriksen still bottleless, Dio HAS to be the unfittest player i have ever seen, he hardly chased anything. Shocking defending once again for their goal, BUT it was a foul throw.
play to the whistle... basic lessons in football, simply we didn`t, we turned off for their throw in, the defending wasn`t good enough for that moment and it has cost us, pointless arguing it should have been over, it isn`t until the ref blows his final whistle. You`re taught at school to play til it ends, these lads deserved more today but the pressure we were under after Meyler got sent off was immense, alas it finally cost us.
I thought Henriksen did exactly what he was supposed to. Play him in his proper position, you get results.
You are right about it being pointless ... The whistle should have gone after the 5 mins where up. No other breaks in play and it was a foul throw, But a great effort by the lads today.
in that case why wasn`t he hooked when Meyler got sent off, to put a defensive midfielder in the form of Stewart on, thereby leaving Dicko as an outlet up front ? Henriksen did ok, nothing exceptional, just ok, is he better then Toral in that position, well comparing his performance today to Toral`s against Birmingham he isnt. Which again asks the question why is he starting.
He did ok until the Meyler sending off, then he dropped into his position meaning he should have come straight off as he is bottleless.
I don't know what this point is, why are you asking me that? He should have been, I don't know why he was kept on. He started, he got an assist. That's what he's there to do. So in 2 games, he has a goal and an assist. Pretty ****.
Dio came on in the 72nd minute and jogged around a bit as if it didn't matter if he closed down players or not ****ing annoying given the effort of most of our players
I agree, has he had a bad injury in the past? He seems to want to stay well clear of any sort of challenge.
Disappointing result but overall performances are improving and City are creeping up the table. I hope Dicko is OK, he certainly took a knock and looked very uncomfortable - until then he'd lead the line brilliantly with excellent hold up play and a well taken goal.
This. I do feel the results will come as we look to be getting better as the games progress. Nothing exceptional, but not the shambles we were a month ago. Important not to get too down and use the positives from today to try and get a result next weekend.
