Either Sky or VM are cheeky c^nts - this from the EPG: Fixed: Lineup: 1 Schmeichel 21 Ricardo Pereira 6 Evans 4 Söyüncü 3 Chilwell 20 Choudhury 17 Pérez 26 Praet 10 Maddison 15 Barnes 14 Iheanacho Substitutes 2 Justin 5 Morgan 7 Gray 8 Tielemans 11 Albrighton 12 Ward 25 Ndidi Good to see Ndidi on the bench, but hope we don't need him to come on as I'd sooner he rests for another week.
Brenda needs to start dropping players who aren't performing, regardless of their name! Get Fuchs back in the side, at least he puts a decent shift in.
Very poor. I think we could all see their goal coming and our lack of serious pressure on a poor central central defensive pair is of real concern. Hopefully Ndidi is now back for the rest of the season which will allow Madison and whoever else plays with him to seriously test defences. Thought Iheanacho did his best with some poor service. Barnes will come good but it doesn't say much for Gray that he can't get on before a fellow winger who is entering the twilight of his career.
Agree, ****ty performance. Albrighton is another who will run himself into the ground if needed. Hopefully we're just going through a bad patch but it looks like most teams have worked out our 'Plan A' so Brenda will have to come up with a way of not losing, pdq.
Really struggling to see where we are getting 3 points from now. The only justification I can see for thinking we’ll beat Villa is that they just dumped us out the cup and it’s the way things often work. Still think draw at best. Watford away we have a **** record and with them in some form and the Nige factor, can only see a win for them and then Brighton at home. That should be the one but we still need to make things happen not expect them! In April, obviously form and momentum can change before then but tough away at a resurgent Everton, bogey side Palace at home, we’ll play right into their hands then Arsenal away, they are draw specialists though but bad record there and Bournemouth away who are pretty dire but playing for their lives. Then it’s the last 3 in May. I’m sure it’s a pessimistic outlook but looking at the evidence of the last 3 months, the only cases I can see to make for us winning in that lot is Brighton, Bournemouth and Sheffield Utd... for a while now I feel you can tell in less than the first 5 minutes we aren’t at it again. Lumping the ball straight out of play from kick off and shying out of challenges.
Ha probably! Maybe the memories of 2012/13 was it when we dropped right out the play offs until the last day. We were awful the entire second half of that season and the regain of form never came. Really can’t see us picking up any kind of consistency though at this stage but as long as the others don’t I guess. Another weekend has gone by where we haven’t been overly punished. Can’t be relying on that through to the end though.
We are lucky at the moment with no-one else capitalizing as they are all eating each other from 5th-10th. The form needs to change, but lets be fair, the first half of the season was stellar. Would much rather we wobble after a good run like that, or we'd be heading down towards Newcastle atm. Top 6 was the plan from the start of the season, and thats well in sight, the heightened expectations are because of the team performing spectacularly well upto christmas, so can't really blame them for a dip when we still sit in 3rd. Need to get back to scoring 2+ goals a game that got us to where we are, time for others to step up and contribute.
