Norwich are top in part due to the contribution of their top scorer, Teemu Pukki (10 goals). Hugill has also scored 1 in 14 appearances, albeit only 4 starts, but being an ex-Ranger who I feel we are missing this season, it would be typical for him to get a goal against us. Also worth noting we need to be aware of Emiliano Buendia, who has scored 8 so far this year from midfield. As for us...not really much to say...no win in eight...same old excuses but no improvement...then a change in formation on Saturday but still lacking that incisive killer instinct when attacking. Another loss and we could go into 2021 a point from the drop zone...unthinkable at the start of the season. I'll add some team news when/if it goes up, and others can add what they know. Enjoy those who are watching, and as always...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
Poor guy was a liability at centre-half. Had to play right-back at Southampton after someone got injured and had the game of his life.
We need to keep the 3-5-2 and hopefully it won't be too embarrassing. Who knows,we might even get a shot on target.
Think it would work far better with Kakay in the three rather than Cameron but no idea when he’s available again. His pace makes the whole thing less of a disaster waiting to happen when Barbet and Dickie move with the ball. Would be tempted to bin Kane for Adomah too just because if we’re going to lose it’s less **** without that gurning useless prick chipping crosses to their goalkeeper.
Like Col, I don’t much care for Norwich, but I have to admit they’ve always seemed to have been a well run club. Why did I think Gary O’Neill was a Canary before he played for us? I can see Norwich scoring at least four.
At least it will probably be MWs last game in charge. Teams suss us out after 10 minutes and he has no plan B.
I went to Norwich only once back in the day. It was the famous Devon White hat trick game which we won 3-4. Devon White, White, White. We stopped off at Cambridge on the way to see Kevin Gallen play for the youth team before heading on to Norwich. Think Gallen scored 3 or 4 that morning too. He was a man playing against boys. I remember him scoring a free kick from about 40 yards out.
Nah you aren’t that old. This does remind me though I get to have the same twice annual conversation on Tuesday morning with my dad about how the draw at Sheff U was the one that really killed us.
