As a Liverpool fan, it doesn't feel like a Liverpool year to me... I dunno we're top, but we've scraped a lot of points this year. If we win, it won't be because we're great like we were last year, it's just because we sucked less than everyone else.

I don't really fancy Spurs either. Maybe it's bias because I hate Mourinho. I don't want any team managed by Mourinho to win the league.

Yes of course Spurs have a chance but it would be a dark day for football if a team playing such antifootball won the trophy. They're certainly capable of it though.

I'd probably put my money on City though. Yeah, rocky start, but once they find their feet I suspect they will climb the table.

Could be almost anyone though. No one running away with it yet and no one staying on top for too long.

Worth pointing out. With the two games in hand United have, including one currently in process, they could actually be above Spurs in second place after 13 games each.

I don't think many people are predicting United to win the title, but their games in hand probably has them in a more competitive position than given credit for.

 

Yeah they'll definitely get maximum points from Burnley and Sheffield United.

 

You could say that about City if their spine hadn't been ripped out over the last couple of seasons. There's a reason they're where they are and it stems from cb through midfield to their centre-forward. Unless they do something very few teams have in a January transfer window and buy 4 worldies to replace the quality they've lost, I can only see them getting worse as Pep loses control.
