I know...we are what we are. People get carried away with a good run and suddenly we are title contenders ffs. We lost our way 2 years ago and have gone back to being a side fighting for 5th or 6th ... 4th at best. The idea we'd make up 40 plus points on liverpool and 22 on City was fanciful at best. Added to the fact that Chelsea massively strengthened meant 4th is the best we could hope for. Signing Bale (completely disagreed with the signing at the time) made people go well ott. I am old school ... I remember relegation, truely **** seasons, good seasons and great seasons ... in my old man view fans are fickle as **** and I find that tedious tbh. But none of that hides the fact thst we were truely shocking today. Leicester completely deserved their win.
Very true...a lot of gooners see him like we see ramos...meticulous in cup games but wreckless in the prem.
It happens every year, and I'm not just talking Spurs, you have clubs being bigged up in Autumn, then in April/May who they were talking about back then is long forgotten. Not saying you won't be up there but what happens pre-Christmas shouldn't be over-hyped. Tbf if your players don't let recent form affect you mentally, regardless of what happens in the league you are more than capable of winning a domestic cup which along with Top 4 would still be a good season and good progress. Only problem is... after that you go into Jose's 3rd season
Absolutely true, but occasionally you do have a Leicester, who everyone says will eventually drop the ball and won't be near top four by April.
Yeh but it unleashed @FosseFilberto on us for the next 4 years so I'm not sure it was such a good thing.
True, I wasn't even sure Leicester had any fans until one day they won the league and all the fans came out of hiding.
