Both are rank amatuer to some of the old club boards. Some of the GC lot are very clever, and there stuff is ****ing funny. But small in numbers. I prefer the Prem board, even over club boards, But it could be a whole lot better, there;s way to much politics and religion ****
Rank amateurs in what way? Old club boards weren't an option for a reason...most of us stick to our own team boards nothing to do with what type of people we are. The other 2 boards are for everyone yet they only attract certain types
Your wrong mate, the old sunderland, newcastle, swansea boards etc were like here, just a lot more explosive @brb to confirm GC is for Jock mongos but can be really funny. Prem board has many great posters, but also some repetitive tedious ****s,
I'm not saying they weren't explosive...I'm saying they consist mainly of the fans of the Club's by default....here and GC is an invitation to a deviant ****
I only post on here these days, possibly make 1 post a week on the Liverpool board. The club someone supports doesn't make a difference to whether I like the poster or not. I find it bizarre that this can be the main reason some people get on. I've been on GC a few times but stay clear as I'd probably get the sack if my boss checked my internet activity So in short, **** knows but I like the characters on this board so stick to that.
Also I avoid political and religious threads as I come on here for a laugh. If I wanted to discuss politics I'd join a politics forum, same as religion. A bunch of nutty footy fans thinking they know everything about politics is enough to make want to bury some **** in the garden.
I'm in bed...contemplating rolling another...too comfy though. I don't watch Crime documentaries on Sunday nights...usually Monday, Tuesday or late night Fridays
GC Board is good as some posters are sharp and funny and don't give a fck. You go into it cupping both balls and take your chances. Best when Scotland are playing, or watching Duncan doing his lap dog routine. As someone who's come back to Not606 after a long time off, the club boards were better before. Characters have left by the looks of it on Chelsea and Arsenal boards which is a shame. The United board is sadly very quiet.... so much so that I actually want UIR back! Has to be said, the Liverpool board is decent enough. Probably not for the paranoid footy ****fest, but for pretty much everything else. So what's left? The PL board.... (to the theme tune of Cheers) where everybody knows.... your name
I still post a lot on the Liverpool board but mainly it's on here. I've been on The GC a lot over the years and agree that there are some good posters on there. It's not like it was years ago on The GC though it's pretty tame on there now.
I'd never heard of the original 606 before coming here. It never got a mention in any of the forum lists on the more used message boards. This board is very tame compared to many of the old networks, and the cross club exchanges on the old rivals network could be awesome. Nothing I've seen on here comes close.
There's loads of old 606 posters on here. It was a fairly limited site as it closed at 11pm and was heavily moderated by BBC staff. You couldn't swear, couldn't upload pictures and anything mildly insulting got removed. There were a few good inter-club threads on there though and some good friendships between rival fans. There was also a forum called the 11 o'clock club for after hours banter. The main sport on BBC606 was trying to call somebody a **** using emojis and trying to get the last word in bang on 22:59:59
