All picks have been done for week 4. Brownbagtiger & Anal Frank with some proper edgy picks. Will it pay off?
    9 remain.

    Who'll survive the weekend? :emoticon-0176-smoke

5, getting serious now. Hope the organiser is chucking a massive wedge in for the top 5 players.

Next weekend's new rule will be you can't pick a team whose name starts with an L, A, M or B.

    Of course I am DBT.

Wish I’d rolled a tenner bet each week.

Going back to the **** leagues for next week’s prediction. Thinking maybe Chelsea but I’ll sleep on it,

    And then there's 5......
The gambles pay off, whiles Mustyfrog gets seriously lucky

    upload_2019-8-25_19-26-2.png

    WEEK 5

NEW RULE (Swapping out the 2 man rule) - Maxiumum one team per player! Brownbagtiger and SirCheshireBen can't both choose Liverpool to win for example. First come, first served.
    Same rules as usual otherwise.

ODDS ON FAVORITE TO WIN IT (Fractions are complicated, so deal with my decimals)

Mustyfrog: 3,0 - Been targeting Southends opponents which I've considered doing something about, but got lucky last time around. Tactial player. Good teams left.

SirCheshireBen. 3,5. Has been playing it safe lately, but has a decent pick in him. Has also driven me to several games which might work in his favor :emoticon-0176-smoke

AnalFrankFingers. 4,0. Some edgy picks has worked in his favor. Will it continue?

BrownBagTiger. 6,0. Possibly the best picks of them far so far. Got a feeling he might forget one week :bandit:

Look_back_in_amber. 6.0. The silent assassin. Several nice picks, played it safe this weekend. Outsider to win it all.

Odds on Tigerscanada to comment that we've only got like 1-2 weeks left before it's done and it's been a waste

Never a waste Febbos . an interesting experiment would be my position.
If you don't invoke tc's rule (see post 287) and it's derivatives as the weeks pass, you'll be here forever.
Thanks for the odds. My money's on the tactile player :emoticon-0105-wink:

My sentimental pick is SCB. Am I allowed 2 bets ?

Edit: The man's good - got in first this next week.

You should cross out certain teams like Man City and Liverpool to make this more of an interesting contest

Next time I will choose Man City and Liverpool every week then rather than Birmingham and Carlisle!

Having a choice of teams that always win, indeed who cannot be beaten unless they are, is kinda like having a joker to play.

It’s all in the strategy isn’t it? Shall I go The Mighty Reds week one and essentially buy my way into round 2?

But then I’ll have used that safety net and it won’t be available when I need an easy passage in the later rubbers.

Shall I put my all on the Unbeatable Blues week 2?

When should I use the Dirty Leeds are already Championship champions and therefore cannot legally be beaten card?

    Questions. Manoeuvring. Strategy.

    It’s like footballing Risk

I got kicked out in round 1 btw, laughably throwing my metaphorical hard earned on Sunderland. Honestly, I’m ****ing clueless. I’d ignore everything I’ve said if I were you.

I'm struggling to see any standouts this week unlike previous weeks where they were mostly no-brainers. I'm not massively knowledgeable on L2 though, so a bit of research might be necessary this time.
