We'll finish above every team that we finished above last season, it will take some monumental meltdowns from Pap to finish above the other one.
We’ve made a lot of changes, but now have genuine pace when at the start of last season we had literally none. How well we do will depend on how quickly our new players settle. I expect a stuttering start then a gradual improvement as the season progresses.
Any improvement on last season is a plus for us. It's a big unknown at Arsenal this season with a new manager, new coaching staff, new tactics and new players. It might take a while to gel, so I just want to see us improve our commitment and organisation which was woeful at times under Wenger. Would be happy with anything from 5th upwards. Getting back in the top 4 in Emery's first season would be a great achievement. Reckon there's potential for it to be a rocky season for the Spuds and Utd.
The whine of the over-priviliged! We've had a **** decade but we're not whining about it. Get over it, get behind your whiney manager and your team and try and enjoy the season!
He is just being a drama queen, once he's been in the Stretford End tonight and we slap Leicester round the Theatre Of Dreams he'll soon be back to his happy-go-lucky self.
Heading down to the pub tonight for the game. First night out down there for quite a while. Thank **** the footy's back mate!!
There is a possibility that might happen, yes. There is also the possibility that the squad and manager could add up more the sum of their parts, Ings, Austin and Gabbiadini will all stay fit and hit form, and we'll win half our games 4-1. It's what being a Saints fan is all about.
We've a squad more than capable of winning the league, not signing a centre half doesn't change that. Needs an attitude change from Mourinho to carry it off though and this is what worries me. Reckon we'll win tonight and, looking at the fixtures, we've a decent start to build up a head of steam. No one to fear until Chelsea away in October. Second at worst, the title at best.
