Returned to my place of birth to run the Hull 10k. My brother, sister in law ( who still live in Hull)and my Wife also ran. After we had finished our run in rain, it was the turn of my two children ( who are 11 and 8 yrs old) to run in the Mini and Junior events. Collecting there medals, they noticed a poster in the bag.It turned out to be the Hull City 2011/12 squad. My 8yr son ( who hadn't seen the date on the poster) said look dad Nick Barmby is playing next season ! Alas son ,no ...... Had to return straight after the races , as my daughter had Netball matches in Manchester.
