Hi, I was just wondering if anybody else heard anything
about the rumours of Oba coming back on loan?

On second thoughts, just been checking the web and can't find anything about this.
    Maybe I dreamt it??

I would love the guy back, a bit of speed and firepower is what we need up front at the moment. On loan would be perfect.

No thanks, had his chance and jumped ship as soon as he could, dispite saying something like:

    Or something like that.

His pace was great but he was infuriating at times and the crowd won't be as sympathetic!

Unfortunately the money for him vamoosed just as quickly!
Isn't there concerns about his real age as well? I mean he looks older than 26 to me & he's started to lose his pace!

*disclaimer* I am in no way declaring that he is lying about his age or trying to defame his character, merely commenting on past speculation. *end of disclaimer*

I thought he was hugely dissapointing. Take away his lightning speed and some cracker jack goals, he wasn't that great, not worth the his price tag (which was £10m odd?), not worth the wages we were paying him and he was certainly not worthy to wear the number 9. I'd rather have Les Ferdinand come out of retirement.

I am fan of russian football and he has been shocking for Rubin since signing. Towards the end of the season he didn't even make the match day squad! Oddly enough i would take him back but first he would have to grovel and beg....and also recieve a right hook from the real number 9!

I had much love for Oba when he played for theToon, but i have agree with a quote made by a certain sexist pundit whilst commentating on one of our games. '' Martins isn't a great goal scorer, but a scorer of great goals''
