Official match thread - LFC v Ludogarets

I expressed alarm during the summer because we were buying so many players, and I think it's always difficult to make wholesale changes.
Of course, with more commitments we needed a stronger squad, but I worry when I see too many new faces at once.
Last night we had 5 players in the starting line-up that weren't at the club last season, plus Sakho who only appeared in a handful of games.
To me, it's perfectly understandable that this team will take time to understand each other, in fact I'd be amazed if it all went smoothly from the off.
The worry is, of course, that they might never gel properly, but only time will tell.

 

Who would have thought this game would be a high point for England in the CL

Even a poor Liverpool game is better than Arsenal bottling it, Mourinho being tactically ****e, and City being a plastic club that melts under the foreign Sun
