The Diane Abbott show 'It's early for Diane, Ruth' This Morning hosts in hysterics as comedian imitates Abbott
I don't know that the Venezuelan government have any chums, much less the leadership of the PLP however charitable the lip service from Corbyn. All I do know is that the Venezuelan government are rather nepotistic and somewhat narcissistic and full of their own self importance rather like orange45's pathetic presidency... which could soon be headed the same way given the weekend's tragic events. Now, to get us back on thread, or something like...

This description fully fits this dodgy chum!! Diane Abbott: "Venezuela shows that another way is possible ...
Holy crapoly.... read the article: she made the claim in 2012 and then congratulated Chavez successor a year later... recently discovered footage made at the event 5 years ago.... I wouldn't consider her (Diane Abbott's) opinions as credible. Never have done, even less so over recent years. However she appears to be a damned sight more credible than either murdoch's rag, or your interpretation of said rag.
Didn't know where to put this.. I must say i am outraged at this expense of public money (Oh.... right thread.... just got it.. he IS a joke)
Maybe when thinking about Venezuala we should remember that the US. government has been openly encouraging violent regime change in Venezuala for years - their media has been presenting Venezuala as a paria ever since Chavez took office in 1999. Presumably the US. and the CIA are also only too happy to help foster such violent reaction with either personnel or financial support - just as they have always tried to meddle in the internal politics of Latin American states. So, the achievements of Chavez are easy to overlook - in terms of life expectancy, income, education and equality Venezuala has seen steady development since he came into power - whilst also increasing its Human Rights index score. All of this is in stark contrast to its neighbours Colombia - which has had 50,000 forced 'disappearances' and 5 million internally displaced people and just happens to be, coincidentally, one of the largest receivers of US. military support in the World. The fact also that the main recipients of these improvements in Venezuala, have been the poor and, so called 'ethnics' ie. the vast majority - whereas opposition has come from the white middle class elites backed by the USA. and its puppet Colombia tells us a lot - the USA. has been trying to destabilize Venezuala in every way possible for the last 17 years.
Well put Cologne.... the political situation in Venezuela has been massively distorted by US meddling and a media war which has led to the polarization we see today.
Not that I'm trying to side with the odious toad, but I think there's a large percentage of embellishment in this story, given that the source for it was that well-known bastion of truth & justice - The Sun...

Reminds me of the statue of Queen Victoria in Windsor. Many years ago someone painted some very dainty footprints from the statue to the nearby toilets.
Thought about putting this on either the trumpers or brexit threads but... http://rochdaleherald.co.uk/2017/08...macist-sympathising-billionaire-donald-trump/
