How were they to know? They would have known if they had done their homework.As for putting the club back on track, they derailed it in the first place.

They may have business acumen in terms of hedge funds, but in footballing terms they couldn’t run a f*****g fish and chip shop.

I think Dai was involved with it's production, since Laudrup wasn't even mentioned once.

Sousa taught us to defend - perhaps if he’d have been backed in the transfer market (for a striker), he’d have taken us up the year before Brendan achieved it.

Finished 7th if my memory holds good. No guarantee the team would have won the play offs, though, even if a striker had been signed. Sousa was a great defender in his playing days.
