Poor old Scarlets, getting the blame for I know not what. Wales haven't done too shabbily in recent seasons, so I'm having a little difficulty understanding your post.
Not the Scarlets’ fault - Martyn Phillips and Gareth Davies appointed Pivac. Not including the uncapped match against Barbarians in November 2019, Pivac’s international record is 11 victories, 13 defeats and a draw. Under Gatland, Wales won 85 of the 151 games, a win rate of over 56 per cent. That climbs to more than 60 per cent in the World Cup, with 12 wins from 17 games, and almost 71 per cent in the Six Nations with 42 wins from 60 games.
Sorry but only now I'm learning tonight's game v France is priced at £100 per ticket!! Wake up and smell the coffee WRU.
Very laboured attacking play - the game was there for the taking, but no cutting edge whatsoever. Surely, they know how Sean Edwards sets up his defensive plays. Oh for an Allan Bateman in the centre: https://neathrugbysupporters.com/2014/09/23/neath-v-new-zealand-25th-anniversary-celebration/
Faletau was excellent again but Dan was MOM in my book, he controlled that 2nd half. But the bottom line is that throughout this year's 6 Nations we have looked completely devoid of any attacking threat.
I'm not a fan of just a kicking game but Wales had nothing else to offer and mixed it up quite well first half to keep the French on their toes. Second half nothing of any description. And what about that second half against England? Looked really good but it must have been an aberration and the Welsh coaching staff made sure it wasn't tried again
Red all day. Another decent refereeing performance but ….. how did the Micker get away with this? Controlled? Shoulders above hips? Uses his arms in a wrapping motion? Stays on his feet?
I wouldn’t argue too much with this selection: https://www.rugbyworld.com/tourname...cdhdjxxSnQGVaDYYqeXx0QtMCtUAWckDX_V_VC-ScVrD8
I believe that I am correct in stating that Byron Hayward’s international record as Wales defence coach, Canada consultant coach (briefly) and Wales u-20s coach is a win rate of ……16%.
