please log in to view this image Taff can you please tell me why we are persisting with Cuthbert, who is the worst winger in Wales at the moment and would struggle in 1West with Gowerton. Yet we have a potential superstar in Keelan Giles who doesn't even make the squad, I know he got injured on the weekend, but not to include him makes no sense. I just don't get it. I am hoping someone can explain.
TLF - I have it on good authority that Keelan was going to be named in the squad. The extent of the injury that he picked up on Sunday is not yet fully known. If the injury is only "slight" expect him to be "fully" called up - not like for the Autumn Series when he was merely asked along to train with the squad. As for Cuthbert ........
So why didn't they just include him subject to his injury assessment. His parents were over mine at a party this weekend and I think they thought he was nailed on as there has been talk of a dual contract already.
I suspect that if he is included in the squad then they would have to pay the Ospreys monies for his release and services (because he is not an NDC player). If he is out for the entire Six Nations, then they would be paying out money for nothing.
The Ospreys team to play Newcastle Falcons at Kingston Park at 5pm on Saturday: 15 Dan Evans 14 Hanno Dirksen 13 Kieron Fonotia 12 Josh Matavesi 11 Dafydd Howells 10 Sam Davies 9 Rhys Webb (Captain) 1 Gareth Thomas 2 Scott Baldwin 3 Rhodri Jones 4 Adam Beard 5 Rory Thornton 6 Olly Cracknell 7 Sam Underhill 8 James King REPLACEMENTS 16 Scott Otten 17 Nicky Smith 18 Daniel Suter 19 Lloyd Ashley 20 Rob McCusker 21 Brendon Leonard 22 Jonathan Spratt 23 Ben John
26-21 If it stays like this it's the record - the first "perfect" 30 points in the European Group stages
Great come back and wanted them to win, to make sure we got a good draw for the quarters. Where is the final mate. To be honest I love watching rugby but prefer it on tv as you can always see what is happening, but may break the habit and go to the final if they get there.
We are home in the Quarters as No.1 seed Final in Edinburgh on a Friday night - 12th May or there abouts
