Could anybody please recommend a good printer? We bought a HP printer 2 years ago but have had nothing but bother with it. Thanks
http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/print...s-all-in-one-inkjet-printer-21737241-pdt.html I've just bought one of these for home. Tend to print out just assignments and presentations. It's quick, quiet and the ink isn't ridiculously expensive. Took me less than five minutes to set it up. Only had it a week, so not sure about long term reliability.
Depends on what you want to pay and its purpose.A few years ago I paid nearly £200 for a Canon as my daughter needed high quality prints for university projects ,exhibitions and portfolios. Computer downloads I used a cheap Lexmark(£35). The latter recently died and I've replaced it with a 3-in-one, Epson Expression XP 312.The wireless was easy to set-up for both Vista and 8.1.For £50 I have been very pleased with it.Very good reproduction with photographic paper at 10x8 and ordinary paper. Has a very good photocopier again with excellent results.Have ordered some compatible inks (Jettec) which are a lot cheaper than Epsons but in tests have been shown to be their equal if not better. As I opened you need to decide on its purpose and budget and a little research on the web.
Thanks guys. It is for an office of 6 people. Probably 2000 a week need printing. It will be linked to a network. The last printer cost £235.
Get yourself a decent Laser printer more cost effective and just as cheap to get toner cartridges as the Genuine Branded Ink ones. Much less hassle and very robust. I use Xerox never had a minutes problem in over 2 years, but there are several good brands on the market at all price ranges.
We use Ricoh, but it's always empty and the people that could use it are now miles away in someone elses office.
