well since i haven't watched much F1 recently ,though did watch a bit more last year , my pretty random picks without knowing the scoring system was Team - Red Bull Drivers - LeClerc , Perez ,Norris , Stroll , Magnussen .
He got substituted so I've automatically been given the other guy for this weekend Marathon, not a sprint
So I didn’t realise the mega driver could only be played twice in the season. I just shoved it on Max this weekend so I’ve gone super early Ferrari looking good albeit very early days here. Never been a fan of them but I like Both drivers now so happy to see them do well. early form suggest Red bull v Ferrari this season.
Haven't posted around Hockey results for a while...but today was our last game of the season and we finished as.................................... Champions!!! Granted we actually won it last week finished with 16 wins, 3 draws, 1 loss. 98 GS, 62 GD. Not lost a game since 2nd October
Mega Driver? Didn't even know this was a thing. From what I'd seen and read, I expected Ferrari to be good. I was tempted to have Sainz too but thought that would be a bit too much Ferrari Mercedes won't stay down. Might take them a few races to work things out but thay was the case last season too, albeit from not quite so far behind as this appears.
Haas finishing seventh and twelfth just shows how much difference these new regulations can make. Great to see them do well but once teams get to grips with the changes, normally will return.
It’s essentially a triple captain token. Im sure Mercedes will catch up. Long season. I do find it funny that every few years they dramatically change the regulations and suddenly it favours other teams. Would be like in football suddenly saying in 2 years we’re gonna change it so rather than scoring goals, you get a point for every 200 passes you make. City suddenly walk the league but then 2 years later change to say, ok it’s now whoever wins the most headers in a game wins the points and Burnley suddenly become title challengers.
The changes are designed to keep it competitive so I guess that's what it's supposed to do. Mercedes are the Man City in that they have a lot more money than everyone else. Didn't get as into today's qualifying like I did all of last season, didn't seem to be as gripping / exciting for some reason. Glad Ferrari look good though. Not a Mercedes fan (I like Russell though), nor do I particularly like Red Bull although that's more because of Horner. I'd prefer McLaren to do well but they looked **** today.
Yeah I get why. Just seems odd that in theory can build a car over 3/4 years and then suddenly the goalposts are changed and the car you’ve been building and developing is no longer the best because they’ve decided to change the rules. Just doesn’t happen in any other sport! Just think whoever it is at the top, having multiple people (across diff teams) challenging and the results not being predictable can only be a good thing.
It's a bit like "the referees decision is final" approach, much like you get in boxing. You can't go back and change the result, the only thing you can do is wipe out the result. In that scenario, Max still wins. Oh, and the small matter of Mercedes completely dropping their case and moving on might have a bit of influence too
