How to make an idiot of yourself... During this morning's Anzac Day Aussie Rules match at the MCG, a Collingwood fan thought he was being smart by offering to return the ball to an Essendon player but dropping it before the player could take it. The player had the last laugh though - he picked the ball up and kicked a six point goal from the side line. I reckon the other 95,178 fans there are probably still laughing at the guy.

All happening in the Premiership Final with the lead changing hands and Saracens down to 14 with a replacement prop in the Bin. 35-25 with 4 minutes to go. Hopefully too late for a Sale comeback wanting at least two scores...
Don't count your chickens... This morning I watched the New Zealand Warriors v Brisbane Broncos NRL match. With five minutes to go, Brisbane were leading 26-10, with one minute to go and the score 26-22, the Warriors scored again in the corner & were lining the conversion kick up when the ref heard from the Bunker - No Try. Thankfully...
Stunning win for Queensland over NSW in game 1 of Rugby League's State of Origin this morning. Down 16-18, they had a player sin binned for 10 minutes in the 69th minute - but still managed to score 2 more tries to win 26-18.
They need to have 2 Championships in F1. One for Red Bull and another for everyone else! Mercedes will probably improve with their upgrades but too late and Ferrari are just hopeless .
So basically after all that fuss the various tours have kissed and made up ? With no doubt lots of money involved ! https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/golf/65825327
Take a bow Australia - World Test Cricket Champions. India never really looked like challenging them.
Very sad. Just 26., Shows the perils some sports can bring even though death fortunately isn't very common in cycling. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cycling/65926606
I was watching some of the cycling from France the other day, and was holding my breath as the riders descended a mountain, with sharp turns most of the way down. A sheer drop on a bend, with just a flimsy piece of pig wire that would not have stopped a rider going over the side. The organizers are beholden to the TV companies who wish to show spectacular scenery, but also high speed downhill sections to give the viewers a sense of the danger. Riders get injured frequently in crashes at slow speed when the peloton bunches up, as well as in the sprint finishes, but that is a risk they will take. Greater attention to mountain passes really should be given priority;
Just needs some bad weather thrown in too. Sounds like there was a collision so maybe one slipped and crashed into the other. There was a picture on the BBC site and the drop was massive it seems. I dare say this poor chap was out cold even before he ended up in the water.
Should be an interesting final day in the Ashes Test tomorrow - on 107/3, Australia need only 178 to win, but the way fortune has been swinging from one side to the other I'm not overly confident.
Strange strategy by Australia - looked like they were playing for a draw. Now at 192/6 they're in danger of losing.
Saying that: will England psyche themselves out of it? An unsuccessful review followed by a drop... exciting stuff!
