I agree, Ritchie is a safe pair of legs and has passion, he does a job.

I fear that Bruce won't have even realised the improvement matty makes on the middle and shelvey will go straight in the team.. I also fear that carrols one goal in nearly 2 years will see him start.

That side for the past few games has shown signs of competing for the 1st time in a year, so there's nothing that should be changed vs Sheff United... If we can give pool and Leicester a game then that side can bear Sheff United

We'll disagree on that one. He's a passenger and is often targeted by the opposition as a weak link. He's a liability so far out of position. He's relatively safe as a right midfielder, with a full back behind him.

Jonjo should be nowhere near a premier league starting 11 in 2021.

If we don't beat Sheffield United we need a coaching change asap because we're going down.

Improvement, without question. Two weeks ago this team looked like they'd given up on Bruce, so he's rallied them somehow. We could be a safe top 10 side with some tweaks - Willems at LWB, with Lewis understudy is a great start. We're reasonably ok with Yedlin/Murphy/Manquillo. ****ing sell Krafth, he's useless.

Jonjo should be sold to some mugs, like West Brom. Longstaffs should keep playing together, with either Hayden as DM or Almiron as AM. I'd get rid of Joelinton an'all, enough is enough. Gayle too. Push ASM further up off Wilson as a front two, then you get three decent attackers on the field at the same time.

Strangely nobody has pointed the finger at Yedlin, but he just jogged back when Leicester countered for the 1st.. He litterally watched them score. You don't see ritchie doing that EVER

I agree almost entirely with this, but I actually think big Joe causes a few problems and he does try... I think he's struggling with confidence and in Bruce's style of play... There's ability there.

I mean mobility in the premier league is a must and litterally every idiot in the street knows as much, but for whatever reason Bruce doesn't realise that jonjo is the slowest player ever to play the game... I don't actually think his passings very good, but he's simply allowed to do it... There's plenty of players could pull of the occasional wonder ball of they were allowed to try 30 times a game.

Yedlin offered an awful lot more during the game and wasn't at fault for their goal. The one at fault for their goal was Wilson, wasn't on his 'a' game at all today, lost possession stupidly when we were in another promising position.

He didn't even bother tracking back and they ran down his side.... Wilson lost the ball, but I'm sorry for a defender to just not bother and watch them score is outrageous

I’d happily take a defeat off Sheff Utd if it rids us of Bruce. The exact opposite will happen of course, we will win and it will paper over the cracks again and we’ll be stuck with him taking us down.

I don't want Bruce to get sacked... Hell be replaced with some other idiot and it'll likely get worse not better..

We've got to hope we stay up and then become so rich he simply has to be sacked

I said right at the start, if you're playing him, he's got to be in a support striker role alongside Wilson. What's worse for the lad is rather than push him up when we went 1-0 down, Bruce did ****ing nothing, then hooked him for Carroll....who he then put up front!!!! It's a piss-take how bad Bruce is.

I think we can move to 2 strikers with 3 in midfield and it suits us better. Time will tell if it does or if it happens, but it's what I really want to see. I'd then just change personnel depending on opponent. So a midfield 3 of Longstaff(s) and Hayden against better teams, swap Hayden for Almiron against 'weaker' opposition. But for me just play a certain way and have your A team and your B team, so you have players to bring in quickly and effortlessly for fatigue. Then work on plan b or plan c as an aside. I mean, what do we have in a 5-3-2? (apologies for the formation porn)

    GK Darlo (Dubs)
    RWB Yedlin (Murphy)
    LWB Willems (Lewis)
    RCB Schar (Krafth)
    CB Fede (Lascelles)
    LCM Clark (Dummett)
    DCM Hayden (Hendrick)
    CM MLongstaff (Shelvey)
    CM SLongstaff (Almiron)
    SS Joelinton (ASM)
    CF Wilson (Carroll)

Still got Manquillo, Ritchie, Gayle as backup. Then just improve on each position whenever you can, but you drill into Steve Nickson and Lee Charnley's thick ****ing heads that this is how we want to play, if you find me a player make sure it's better than what we have, prioritise CM, and understand what this club needs.

NB. I've included Willems because it would be simply absurd if we didnt sign him for free this month, given the struggles of Lewis and RItchie.

I just wouldn't change anything right now .. We've looked like we can play a bit vs 3 of the best sides.if we can't beat Sheff United then change things

The problem with Matty is he is slow as ****. I mean he is slower than Shelvey.

He's nowhere near as slow as shelvey..

Fans saw him struggling to run the length of the field keeping up with Maddison , so he's getting skated, but if Yedlin has done it they'd not have scored.

You know he's going to as well, Shelvey will be in for Matty.
