if anything, wigan have proved that with the right coaching and plans you can still garner enough quality to get out of this league (barring a serious drop in from from them of course) where we were slow out of the blocks and appeared to only go for a specific player that fitted 'the model' and, as expected, we have been looking at the old square peg situation again.

are we offering far higher wages than any other team and that is why we never seem to have enough fit players?

if so, none have really been deserved or justified so far and we are somehow looking towards a fifth season in division three and quite possibly our worst ever league position...how is it that other clubs get taken over or have a managerial change and almost instantly see some kind of success yet we seem hell bent on making sure we only move at the pace of this long term plan, while i still feel the plan will be beneficial in the long term right now we should have no problem spending what, in terms of the leagues above us, is a pittance but yet again we are penny pinching.

if this comes down to the chancers then i sincerely hope every bit of business they ever try to glean a profit from bites them firmly in the @rse and they end up having to work down the docks.

Played all of our best football with him and Pritchard playing as 2 10's. The lad is our best technical player with either foot. All of the squad has been a let down this season. The lad is destined for a higher level than league 1 and in a team with a. Competent defensive unit to provide a platform he will flourish. Incidentally if the likes on Dan Neill etc hadn't been second best in every midfield battle since October we might have seen more from Embleton
