Gills haven't recorded a league victory at Oxford United in our last 7 visits, picking up just 2 draws and suffering 5 defeats - Can we put an end to that run on Saturday and bring 3 points back to Kent?​

 

I always feel lucky when we go to Oxford so it's a draw or win..... so an early goal and then hang on for dear life for the rest of the game, like true fighting warriors, no late goals to spoil the party. I'll hand over to Lenny now, to big up the commentary and ocassion. Boooom....

So away to the U,s not an easy task unless your a RAM. Then its fun. LOLOLOL
Sadly this season looks like a BAD 1 for the MKB. When you see teams like Ipswich and Charlton fighting for relegation safety after only 8 games.
And we still have teams to play like Wigan, Sunderland, Bolton, Sheff Wed, who have recent top flight expiereance, including being Prem sides.
So the toughest league on the planet, but we are part of it, so no matter what we are a bleddy good side. I use the term loosely. very loose like diarrhea.
We were made to fight for our point midweek and so lucky they, Charlton, scored both goals.
The equaliser we were very thankful for.
Cannot see this being good for us, not even Oliver scoring.
So we KO and defend well for the normal 15-20 minutes couple of chances. THEN they get a corner as the REF saw it come off an MKB player. IN FACT Matty Taylor caught his studs going into a tackle.
BUT the ball comes in and Nathan Holland cheeses it in off his head. 1-0 down.
Second half the Gaffer uses some choice words to raise ego and on 75 minutes it works YEAHHHHHHHHH, OPPSSSS we are kicking the other way. Ehmer miss kicks and itssssss ????????????? ****ttt an own goal.
4 minutes to go and Ehmer again, slips and slices down Henry, who steps up and converts the penalty 3-0
Sorry guys I would love to make it up, but we live in the real life
