    Howya Lads and Lassie!

Long time no post. Hope you're all well.

I'm going to Blackburn game with two Yanks (who know their football, in fairness). Where in the stadium to put them? Pitchside in the Paddock or in the Upper Loft.......or elsewhere?

    Thanks for your feedback!

Cheers RTID. Last time I was up there was the 3-2 win against 'Pool!

    Upper Loft it is!

You're getting on a bit CORKeR so I'd suggest the Paddock, you're eyesight is probably starting to fail ( as is mine ) I sit behind the goal ... as you know ... and I can't see who is who or what is going on up the other end of the pitch.

Upper loft is members only. I assume they are not members.

Glad to see you haven't lost your wit in your senile retired state Nines! Would be great to catch up over a beer before the game. I'll bring my OAP card for beer discounts.

Yeah, Totally, I had selected three nice seats in Upper Loft and then saw/remembered that it was members only. :emoticon-0106-cryin

I finally went for the front of block B in the SA Rd stand. Probably a pillar in the way but I couldn't care less! A few nice beers in C&S beforehand and the LRd buzz.........what more could an old man (thanks Nines!) want?

Sat in the Paddocks a couple of times this season and enjoyed getting a different perspective. Newbies might find the upper tier a bit far away if you can’t get tickets near the front.

Had my ST for many years in the Paddock ‘cos I enjoyed the closeness to the pitch and the action and even managed the odd bit of amusing banter with the linesman who always took it on the chin and laughed.

My season ticket was in G (row 2) before I moved to Sweden. Great place to watch from. I usually sit in the upper loft or Ellerslie now when I am over, (Next week in the UL with my lad).

Thanks to all for the replies. Used to travel over two, three times a year. It's now been three years I think.

Yeah, Trá Mór, still on the road bike, although I did come off the mountain bike last year and did a nice separation job on my shoulder! Feckin' eejit!
