I didn’t understand what GF was saying re risk. But I’m guessing yellow card related for Arsenal game.

 

If he gets booked he's suspended for Arsenal, so very valid point.

I'd assume Casemiro sets the tone, gets a grip on the match, we go into a good lead, and then Fred comes on.

Pelistri on the bench again tonight, would love him to get some game time with Garnacho on the left and him right.

It is a risk, but a lot of managers (and definitely a certain Norwegian) would 'protect' Casemiro for the next game, and lose this one as a result.

The positivity and confidence in ETH is very good.

You all got to trust me on this but the vibe and buzz abut the place is tangible, and that rubs off on the team on the pitch, and it also rubs off on opponents.

 

I was thinking the same thing. Why risk losing this one because you’re already thinking too far ahead of the match after. Casemiro, however, can somewhat control what happens to him in this match.

Pace of the game is a bit too much for him at the moment, hopefully that can soon be made better.

 

I think he's been told to do a job today and he's doing it tbf. When Palace have the ball at the back, he's working like the others to close off the options so they have to go long.
