Heard him mention that we were one touch football by the end of play and was baffled as to why the coaches and manager would instruct the players to do this

I think as long as we are within touching distance of the play offs we must stick with Parkinson. He’s only been here two minutes.
I can see the value in this but imo he loses these two home games, will the crowd be accepting his continued employment?
It’s not relevant but Clough was in and out of Leeds within 44days due to the players not responding to him
When there are rumours of players cliques and players not trying the crowd should get behind the manager imo. Yes, even if we fail to win the next two, I think we need to stick with him. If it becomes obvious we are not in contention to go up then that’s a different story.
I'd happily take 3 points from our visit to Gillingham instead of progress in the cup. Either side of that game we have 4 home games. At the end of December we'll know where we stand ... ... we all know it and the players have to take responsibility. The patience of the supporters is wearing thin, fail to put in an effort and the players will see how toxic things can become.
In the pre-match warm-up the players practice close ball control and short passing. When we go into the match we **** ourselves as soon as receive the ball, lose control, so resort to hoof-ball. What's all that about?
Absolutely agree Smug, but don’t understand why there is seemingly a problem, yet again, within the club. It has happened every season for the past few years. Is the Netflix team in there again? I think any issues or any dip in form is magnified when film makers, cameras and production crews are lurking around. If not, it may possibly be drinking, gambling or a lack of backbone that may be an issue....it fekin needs sorting, though.
It seems the vultures are already circling above PP. Next 2 league games are against relatively strong teams with savvy ( albeit in one case unsavoury ) managers. If he had just said eg the gills performance was unacceptable and he didnt take any positives he would have gained a lot more kudos. His interview instead has turned out the football equivalent of the recent interview given by the filthy disgusting paedophile enabling brother of the next king. Rejected as utter tosh and evasion. Failed football tactics are the order of the day once again. Do we really trust him, coton and hill to make sensible use of the limited funds again. The latter 2 are serial failures in the transfer market and I see no evidence to suggest PP isnt cut from exactly the same cloth. It looks increasingly like the new funds made available will have to be used paying off this managerial dud
You keep going down this route about hill and cotton, mainly focusing on grigg again I’ll point out that once maja left, they looked at players with a proven goal scoring record in league one. grigg had a proven outstanding record of goal scoring at this level. They are not time travellers, they took his record at face value. The failure has been down to the player himself, not those who bought him what Prince andrews interview had to do with Parkinson is in that mind of yours. In reality absolutely nothing to do with football failed football tactics, could I ask what tactics should be deployed, so a message can be passed to those who affect them
Managers of the teams that we play, all come out with "what good players we've got". They can't all be wrong. Problem is, some of our players believe their own press, and feel they're too good for this league. They're clearly not. There's too many of them just coasting through games. Start by picking the players who would bust a gut to play for this club. Get rid of the ones that don't and replace them with more that are hungry and out to prove themselves, and who fit the style of play we are trying to introduce. This club is still a big draw at this level
