    Alright lads/lasses/dogs/cats whatever!

Pavlyechenko? I'm waiting for a flight at the minute and hear we've agreed a fee, there's nowt on the web.

Anyone know anything? If we end up with Sess, Muntari and Pav, i think i may be a very happy boy!

    Anyone?

Think i saw that on Sky Sports Transfer watch.... Us and Brum fighting for his signature.... Something about them being evns for a deal and us 9/4.... not much more than that

A pal of mine who lives in London mate, he's a Sunderland lad and not a gobshite, i've known him for 22years! He's not claiming to be connected or owt, just says there's strong rumours around his graft.

Seems that skybet have cut the odds on him signing for us from 8/1 to 9/4, that's all the 'concrete' info i can find, but that could happen off one fella hoying a tenner in.

Aye that's all i can find mate.

Seems Bruce has suggested no striker, which likely means we'll get one based on past windows!

It makes sense -it has to be a non-African and he would be top class signing. I'm sure Pav would prefer us to Brummieland and the chance to get into Europe.

We're in a fantastic position to attract an A-Grade striker, but (African Nations Cup 2012) he must be non African, hence our late interest in Babel etc

But we're an attractive proposition to a striker right now -and the likes of Sessegnon but let's also hope Troare (French), de Souza the Hulk (Brazil)

And Fuller? ...well, lets face it Brucie, the lads won't like it much on a cold evening next Tuesday if all we have in place is Ricardo Fuller

Birmingham can offer him a cup final not much else. :)

I have to say before Pav went to the Spuds he looked a world beater.

I think him and Gyan would work.

Just been listening to SB on SAFC TV and he says we have had 2 strikers on our radar for ages and they're still of interest but goes on to say he's not worried either way as the 2 incoming (Sess & Muntari) will give him attacking options also, but he's also not ruling anything out just yet.

He is quality, a much better all-round player than Crouch according to Spurs fans. I think he'd be a massive signing, but unfortunately massive signings cost massive amounts of money, not least to those who would get that name printed on their shirts :O

This news is the Hounds Gonads! We all know what Sunderland are like for pulling off last minute signings. I for one, would be as happy as Sian Massey and Karren Brady to see Pav signed up :)

spurs fans seem to rate him over crouch or keane and if had a choice would keep him, they seem to think if he had run in the team he would be very good ,if the price was right i think he could be worth a try, but spurs will want to mutch unless they need to sell to get someone in,could be who blinks first,i would rather keep the money if we dont get a good deal

From the Spurs fans I have spoke to Pav can be a frustrating player but he has that class to produce a moment of briliance.

I think Pav and Gyan would be a good front two but I cannot see us splashing 10m+ on a striker in the next few days

I've heard nowt, like. I'd have him here no problem though for a decent price. Good player when he wants to be.

I'd say i can't see us splashing out, but I said that just before we got Gyan...
