Think theres a few people with egg on their faces after the results of the last few months! It's interesting to see how things have improved since nigel has put his own team together and got them playing how he wants. That's more than just a coincidence.

This'd be more relevant if we were playing well, last night was standard for City this season, not playing well, but getting a result.

The results are there, but not the performances to go with them. A strange one.

It's not even as if Brownies team played that good, even when the results were happening

We have been playing well barring the odd game. i.e last night and maybe ipswich. To get 4 points from 2 away games whilst no playing too well is the sign of a good team to me.

Only if you don't go to the games and watch SSN instead.

Honestly never been as bored as I have this season.
It is indeed the sign of a good team, and undoubtedly we have some very good players (even if our best is at at Ipswich), I'm almost coming round to Monotone, but still, it wouldn't hurt for us to play well now and again to prove it isn't luck.

That was obviously aimed at TWF not Sagegee.

Umm, no. I have no idea if you'd been or not, neither am I going to criticise somebody for not going to an away (or even home) game. Merely pointing out that it's an enjoyable result if you're not there to see the game.

I'm bored because the football is dire. I'm pleased with the results, but I still think our performances need to improve.

Listening to NP's interview last night, he's basically saying what I am.

He's winning now you mean so he doesn't seem **** anymore. He won't have changed his way of doing things at all. He'll be relying on what worked at Leicester.

maybe i was too harsh too early, but he was picking weird line ups- no width against the 2 best wingers in the league at burnley?, we had about 5 games in a row where we barely mustered a shot on target ( to be fair, even last night we went the full 1st half without a shot)..we where painfully crap to watch..he was leaving his own players on the bench, wheh people where saying it wasnt his team..
things have turned around results wise, which at the end of the day is the important thing, and fair play to him, but at thw time of writing that article, i had just got back from another game of wishing i could rip my eyeballs out, and was a bit peed off...even now a lot of games we are only creating 1 or 2 clear chances (ipswich, last night) and there going in, that wont last forever, tho i hope it will..

I'd rather watch cracking football than just grind out wins (in an ideal world). but from what I've seen this year we are playing some good football at times (a rare event compared to th elast couple of years). I'm very happy (but then I've seen some dreadful stuff since the early 90's)
