    Afternoon all

As you are all aware Southampton make their 2nd away trip of the week but this time to Peterborough to looking for another Away Win!

Below is currently standing for both teams in League 1 IT'S VERY CLOSE!!

For more details of League 1 Table: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_2/table/default.stm

My Thoughts: Saints 3-1 Win... After Southampton last min win at Exeter would have motivated Saints going into this game looking for a victory.

    My Starting XI

    Super Kelv

    Butterfield Fonte Jaidi Harding

    Chamberlain Chaplow Hammond (C) N'Guessan

    Lambert Barnard

Subs: Bart, Seaborne, Dickson, Gobern, Guly, Forte, Lallana

I would be interested from BOTH sets of Fans on predicted Scores for the Game and who should be in your starting XI and why?

Anyone see the comment by the posh assistant manager on the bbc match page:

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_2/9379655.stm

I quote: "We're getting better and as we all know if you keep the football you can't score"

    hehe, news to me.

Anyway on topic I recon this will be a difficult one, we will need our shooting boots on to beat em. I recon this is the most difficult game in this months congested fixtures.

I'm not sure what their pitch is like, which will probably be a factor, but I'm gonna go for 2-2 with a late Saints equaliser when NA brings on Lallana.

    Hi Beddytare

Richardson - Dunno if he is injured???? Good Point! Tho!

Didnt know if you knew but Guly picked up a injury a light injury before mid-week against Exeter (Needed stitches in ankle think Solent were reporting) so doubtful to be in the startin XI.

    You prefer Seabourne to Jaidi??

I think Peterborough's record for big scorelines recently might show that Saints may score a few, although peterborough has some serious fire power too... it'll go 1 of two ways i reckon either be a 5-4 type score (hopefully in saints favour) or a 1-0 win (again for saints hopefully)

I forgot to factor the TV coverage too, I think the 2-2 draw was an optimistic prediction then, but will stick with it.

Yes I think this type of game is not for Jaidi. A bit slow. Seaborne frightens me to death at times but he needs games and is quicker than Jaidi.
Didn't know about Guly in that case it will be Barny and Noble on the bench then?

Yep definately Rickie and Barny up front!

Guly didn't travel with the team to Exeter on Tuesday due to the injury. Fingers crossed it's nothing major and might get a run out this weekend in the 2nd Half!

    Good Team Spider...

    Q. Can we afford to only have Lambert upfront?

i think AOC and lallana would be enough to only play lambert up front, but only if lallana is playing if not 442 lol

Thats a bit optomistic Kingsland although i hope you are right.

This is a very tough game and i will be happy with 0-1 in all honesty.
