In the process of happening. Someone ordered phone in my wife's name, to be delivered in next two hours. She has contacted both mobile phone provider and delivery firm. Mobile phone provider has no knowledge of wife's email, only address. Delivery firm has been informed it is scam but refuses not to deliver it. Police will not send anyone to intercept whoever the ****bag is who then turns up at our door to take the phone back. Do not take photos of said ****bag as they might get nasty and come back later. No wonder the ****s get away with this ****. Now I've had to cancel my game of golf so as to answer the door to delivery firm and then the ****bag. Baseball bat at the ready. And boy can I hit. Fuming.
I'm sure you could still manage to use the driver mate! A sock full of golf balls might be handy to keep close by as well. They certainly wouldn't go out of my front gate the way they came in!
My Ping swung to hit flush in the face. The c**t would be dead, although a four iron chopped to the side of the head would do a nice job as well.
I'm confused by the story, maybe I'm reading it wrong, but why would a scammer deliver a phone to an address it's used for the scam, surely it would be a different delivery address.
It gets delivered to an address eg Dorty’s. They say it’s nothing to do with us, scratch heads. Then fake delivery man arrives saying sorry delivered to wrong address and walks off with phone as original people believe this as they didn’t order it. Fake delivery man now has phone delivered and accepted by Dorty but no contact details for faker.
Ah ok, fair enough, I suppose the scammer is calling the OP out as a soft touch target Don't worry Dorty, we are on our way... please log in to view this image
So...who pays for the phone? Or can someone sign you up to a contract without your consent? Kinda defeats the point of a contract... Also how does Dorty know the delivery is coming in next 2 hours if they don’t know her email - only her physical address?
I presume they used their email but our address to order the phone. I'm not sure if they need to pay in advance for the phone, I presume so, in which case they must have used someone else's details. The Old Bill aren't interested, though if they stuck around in the area they would soon find the ****bag who tries to pick the phone up. The delivery company texted the wifey about delivery time.
First part. Argument between Dorty and Phone Co. Faker must have some details for Dorty’s wife to order the phone eg bank details, address etc. Would suggest Dorty clarifies what info they have as can’t imagine Phone Co have delivered without being paid (unlikely by Faker) or have bank details verified (possibly Dorty’s wife) for monthly payments. Second part, how should I know????
Yeah, and she wont use that one for the next twenty years. Remember the day.you ****ed off to play golf when that ****bag turned up...besides.im playing tomorrow
