PL Fixtures announced next week

Who do you want 1st?

For me its Arsenal away, I would rather us have a "tougher" game like that to start off with to get the mindset of the players right instead of a so called "midtable team" and then think the 3 points are in the bag, and everyone keeps saying how we are "slow starters" but they haven't been great in their opening fixtures for the past few seasons now, if not them then surely the Emirates fixture will be 1st out of the 2 games as for the past 4 seasons the game at OT has been 1st.

Out of the games against other Rivals I reckon the PL will have the 1st Liverpool game at OT and have it early while Suarez (if he stays) serves the remaining games of his ban to avoid possible contriversy. I cant call when the Chelsea/City games will be allocated for but I hope we can do the double over at least one of them, as for Spurs the WHL game will surely be 1st as it has been at OT for the past 3 seasons.

Out of the 3 newly promoted teams I reckon we will get 1 of them on the final day (probably Cardiff) and barring Zaha coming back to us Im sure that one of the Palace games will be on sky and built around him.

Expectations for the season: Well the Media have Mourinhos Chelsea as favourites for the title so hopefully we can at least give them a closer challenge then in 04/05 and 05/06, dont know what to expect with the CL and to get to the semi finals with 1 of the 2 cups would be ideal.

 

UTDs 1st game will be away to Sunderland

 

An away game (selfish reasons).

Have it on good authority that we have Norwich away though.

 

It alternates every year, last year we had a home game 1st (I think)

 

been away 1st for the last 2 seasons to WBA and Everton respectively.

No idea why you'd want a team like Arsenal 1st. Lose that and the vultures are circling.

Far better to build up confidence and belief, you've got a new manager that needs to get his ideas across.

Sunderland away seems a gimme for you, that would probably a safe bet

I cant see City winning the league, more like Chelsea or UTD

 

Our first game is Southampton

 

I'd love a 3 horse race. In 2-3 years time this Chelsea side could be as strong as any but experience favours United and quality favours City.

I think Arsenal will get involved for a bit as well. Either way it won't be won by February like if was last year.

 

If man utd sign a world class midfielder they will walk the league.

First 5 games are Swansea away, Chelsea home, Liverpool away, Palace home, City away. Someone's taking the ****ing piss.

And what a surprise, arsenal, Chelsea and city all at home first game of the season to piss poor opposition. Now there's a shocker
