From a Newcastle fan may I wish you the best of luck in todays 2nd Leg and hope you take a giant step to regaining your rightful place top tier.
HT 0-0. Hibs falling into McCall's cunning trap. He knows they are ****e in the final third so has set his team up so the game is played there. Despite that we have came closest to scoring. Need to keep a hold of the ball and stop blootering it up to Kenny Miller.
FT 1-0 We let them get a wee consolation goal at the end to give the tarriers some hope. It makes their failure even harder to take. Motherwell next. Shouldn't be a problem.
SPFL1 Play-Offs SF2, Saturday 23/05/2015 : Hibernian 1-0 Rangers Churchill once said 'One is enough' ... but he was not thinking about Hibernian ! Rangers weathered the early storm from Hibernian, then came into the match, looking comfortable throughout, despite being on the defensive for the greater part of the game (which was to be expected in this match). Jason Cummings' last minute goal gave the game to Hibernian, but Rangers progress 2-1 on aggregate. Rangers play Motherwell in the play-off final first leg this Thursday. *moan And so they should. Personally, I got fed up and really don't care that much. I care a little. But not much.
SPFL1 Play-Offs F1, 28/05/2015 : Rangers 1-3 Motherwell Advantage Motherwell, which I think they will retain. There was pressure enough and several scoring opportunities from Rangers tonight, but much of our passing was not effective. Many balls were played too long, too short, or to the opposition. The most costly of the latter led to Motherwell's superbly executed third goal. Anyway, it is 'half-time', as folks say, but it is all to do, from a long way back now, on Sunday at Fir Park. Match Report : Rangers FC - Rangers 1-3 Motherwell Attendance : 49,200 (SSN) Manager's verdict : Rangers FC - Video: Stuart McCall Post Match (RTV)
