I'm not due to renew until next year (on a three year membership) but I'll no doubt forget.

When the time comes do you drop us an email to remind us?

Feel a bit bad actually, given all I do on here is whinge about the current regime. I've always supported the Trust and enjoy their output. Never occurred to me to actually join tho. Apathy due to the state of the club, perhaps?

Anyway, this thread made me realise I can really show my support so I'm in :emoticon-0148-yes:

I'm sure I signed up for life for 25 Sovs way back when. Is the Trust adopting the Enob principal to pricing structures - 2 quid for young un's means a massive price hike for adults? Kidding btw.

Am I supposed to get some sort of confirmation or something? I've got nothing from the trust, no account number or anything. Just a payment confirmation from PayPal.

They're as bad as the club.

It's a good idea. The life membership thing is something I'm very keen on pushing because a big problem is people forgetting to renew or not bothering. Same way how businesses like you to pay by Direct Debit.

What exactly does the trust aim to do with any possible increased funds? I thought the aim was increase the number of trust members, therefore sending a message out. We need to make it impossible for the Allams to claim we're a noisey minority.

We need to prove the majority want the Allams gone. We can do that either by a full on boycott, or by the trust membership increasing hugely.

I completely agree. I'm not interested in anything financial so as long as the treasurer says we have enough to manage that'll do me. Really I want memberships to be as cheap as possible with a free option. Obviously they already are very cheap, but I do think that even a small cost subconsciously puts people off.

How does that work? It doesn't ask for an address.

I did sign up for three years about 18-24 months ago. I've forgotten exactly when. I will renew as long as I get a reminder when my membership is about to expire......
