    If that is the case No.1, why dont they simply settle for a CRB check? It would be alt cheaper although it may take a lot longer

    CRB checks are a UK thing and many owners aren't British.

    Alternatively the CRB check would come back saying there was no problem as there is no record of them doing anything wrong in the UK, meaning even Hitler could pass the test.
