Does Poch really deserve all the abuse he is getting on the Spurs' board? After all he has done for them!
Pooch has equalled a recent record for consecutive losses set by Tim 'nice but dim' Sherwood in 2014 One more bad result and pooch will own the record. Sherwood > Pooch
Just been over to have a quick read. Can't see any mention of the fact we even played last night (apart from a Prediction League thread). (Edit; the author of their match thread has me on ignore )
Only targets the big comps remember, premier league (haven't won it in 50 odd years) and champions league (never come close) only. **** the league and FA cup, those are well beneath Spurs. He's a silly twat for saying that, deserves all the derision coming to him.
Having to agree there, they needed to win something this season to show they are ready and the LC is always a good cup to go and win.
I haven’t seen any Spurs fan having a pop at Poch. There have been a few having a pop at some of the players. This is yet another ill advised thread, drenched in third grade wummery.
The should go all out for the FA cup. Get that trophy monkey off their back. Not that I give a ****. I was delighted we won the league cup last season, it's just bollocks to suggest anything else.
Spot on, was ridiculous to suggest things like that when he's extremely unlikely to win either of those 2. Like you say he should go all out for the FA Cup this year as the longer he goes without a trophy the more questions will be asked on whether he can deliver one or not. It's not like Spurs have had loads of success in the last couple of years either is it?
I don’t think Levy will judge Poch on whether or not he wins the league or FA cups. He’ll be judged on league position. That’s what earns the money. We need to consolidate our top 4 status. I am certain that is the major strategy. What Poch has got to be wary of is that he finishes too many times outside the top 4 and fails to compensate with a cup win. Wenger managed to achieve the two in most seasons, which is why he’s lasted so long at Arsenal.
Pooch's plan B : Mauricio Pochettino says Tottenham "need to improve" after their 2-1 defeat at Leicester became their third consecutive Premier League game without a win.
