BBC article on spurs v Bournemouth starts with how we want Eddie Howe to replace Pochettino ... it's reached Barcalona/Madrid levels of media tapping up
After wins against Chelsea and The Sheikh Mansour Team during the Christmas period, shouldn't Sky be suggesting Claude Puel for the Man Utd job?
What the **** has it got to do with Colin? Are sky going raise this at every managers press conference - pillocks
A bit rich considering numerous clubs forgot about their loyalty to him when he had them rooted in the relegation zone...
The disrespect shown to spurs regarding this poch to utd thing is awful. please log in to view this image
As usual, the actual interview doesn’t match the headline, but Colin is a mouthy twat in any case and ought to keep his trap shut. His constant ‘little club / poor us’ whingeing had him near the top of my list of relegation requests, but this has certainly secured that choice.
He did say this, though: "I remember when I got promotion with Notts County, Chelsea offered me a job"! They went from failing to woo Colin to bringing in Hoddle. What a difference millions of pounds of Matthew Harding's money makes, eh?
He wasn't going at any point. The press may be stupid enough to believe that Daniel Levy and Mauricio Pochettino didn't discuss this possibility before signing the new 5 year deal this summer, but given that these are the biggest years in the club's history, there's zero likelihood of that. Unless DL agrees otherwise, MP will see out the 5 years, it's about the most certain thing around the club in this time of change....that and Harry Kane's not for sale.
